About Common Ground

Common Ground is a 3-acre organically managed farm owned by the University of Vermont–and run by students. The farm is located at the UVM Horticulture Research Center off of Shelburne Road (Rt. 7), nestled between the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain.

We strive to maintain and expand our knowledge of agricultural practices through hands-on learning experiences.

Common Ground Farm is a place to learn, but it is also a place to give back to our community and foster a postive stewardship with the land we live on.
